The Sanad Collection: Coffee Table celebrates the beauty of off-cut travertine stone that is often discarded within the region. Designed with sustainability as the central driver, the design piece embraces the structural density of stone, while playfully suspending it on the supporting structure.
Through a meticulous research and collection process within the region, off-cut marble is sorted and classified considering multiple factors, until the final quantity and quality of upcycled travertine is secured. Ensuring the sustainability ethos is carried throughout the piece, the manufacturing process employs modular techniques to optimize and minimize additional biproducts. Upon assembly, the final product is polished and prepared to the highest standards of end-user interaction.
To complement the raw and natural beauty of the upcycled travertine, the upcycled camel leather is introduced to provide unique accents to the overall piece and user touchpoints. Utilizing its natural strength and durability, the upcycled camel leather brings the piece together and mitigates the interactions of the upcycled travertine and metal components.
