In 2024, Tasmeem Tashkeel partnered with Dubai Culture and Arts Authority to deliver a landmark public art project at the Tashkeel Building. Tasmeem Tashkeel provided comprehensive consultancy services, including art and design guidance, turn-key solutions, 3D rendering, schematic design, and UAE-based manufacturing.
The project features a vibrant sculpture by the internationally acclaimed artist eL Seed. Executed in the signature pink tone that eL Seed first created during his Tashkeel residency, the sculpture spells the word “Takhayal”, meaning “Imagine” in Arabic — a concept that resonates deeply with Tashkeel’s mission as a creative hub.
Installed prominently in front of the Tashkeel building, the sculpture serves as a visual invitation to creativity, imagination, and cultural exploration. Its design bridges contemporary public art with the rich legacy of Emirati artistic expression, creating a striking landmark that inspires both visitors and the local community.
